Moscot is a family-owned American eyewear brand with roots stretching back to 1899, when Hyman Moscot, a Jewish immigrant from Eastern Europe, arrived in New York via Ellis Island and began selling ready-made glasses from a pushcart on Orchard Street, Manhattan. The business became a formal shop in 1915 on the Lower East Side, and has stayed in the Moscot family ever since, now led by fourth-generation CEO Harvey Moscot and fifth-generation Chief Design Officer Zack Moscot.
Over more than a century, Moscot has built a reputation for classic, instantly recognisable frames — thick rims, round and square silhouettes, and sturdy rivets and hinges — a look the family describes as "classiconic." While honouring that heritage, the brand continues to introduce new collections that reinterpret vintage styles (from 1950s classics to 1960s–80s aviator influences) with a fresh, contemporary edge.
Despite growing into a globally recognised name — worn by countless cultural figures and stocked internationally — Moscot has held onto its identity as a "neighbourhood optician," with deep, enduring ties to New York's Lower East Side and a business philosophy built on family values, quality, and personal customer service.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
We completely understand that frames can look different when tried on, so we offer a 14-day return policy if you are not completely happy with your purchase.
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and securely wrapped.
Return shipping fee & any additional import taxes will be the responsibility of the buyer and we recommend getting tracking as we cannot be responsible for a lost return.

SHIPPING INFO
Once you have chosen your frames we will package and ship as soon as we can (normally the next working day).
We send our frames out tracked so you will be provided with a tracking number.
The majority of our frames will come with the original case, some however will be sent with our case instead. A microfibre lens cloth will also be provided.
