Menrad is a German eyewear brand with a legacy dating back to 1896, historically produced by the family-owned Ferdinand Menrad GmbH + Co. KG and led through four generations of the Müller-Menrad family. The company is even credited with inventing the adjustable eyeglass temple, and over more than a century built a reputation for skilled craftsmanship and technical innovation, growing into a market leader in eyewear manufacturing, marketing, and distribution with around 700 employees at its peak.
The Menrad collection offers a high-quality, classic range with a fashionable edge for both men and women, combining individualistic frame design with high wearer comfort and premium materials. From the 1980s onward, the company also produced eyewear under licence for other names, including JOOP!, Jaguar, and Davidoff.
Following Menrad's insolvency, Danish company Design Eyewear Group acquired full proprietary ownership of the brand — including its design rights and technical assets — in June 2025, taking on the task of honouring Menrad's legacy while shaping its next chapter.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
We completely understand that frames can look different when tried on, so we offer a 14-day return policy if you are not completely happy with your purchase.
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and securely wrapped.
Return shipping fee & any additional import taxes will be the responsibility of the buyer and we recommend getting tracking as we cannot be responsible for a lost return.

SHIPPING INFO
Once you have chosen your frames we will package and ship as soon as we can (normally the next working day).
We send our frames out tracked so you will be provided with a tracking number.
The majority of our frames will come with the original case, some however will be sent with our case instead. A microfibre lens cloth will also be provided.
